A Personal Passion
A personal passion of mine is my major itself, Video Production. Ever sense I could fist pick up a camera, I have wanted to use it. From doccumenting my families Christmas's to taking photos on my dad's first phone, I wanted to take photos whenever I could.
When I was 15, my family got me my first ever camera. A Canon Rebel T5. Using this was the start of me figuring out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I used this camera until it broke. I shot whatever I could constantly, and even ended up winning some awards for my photography. When I got to Stout, I didn't know what I wanted to study, then I saw they had a Video Productin Major. Ever sicne I started I haven't looked back
A Personal Narrative
Like previously stated, I grew up 10 minutes from the Twin Cities, which was really great. I was able to go to all of my favorite teams games (even know Minnesota is not known for winning any games). It was also a great place to practice my photography skills growing up. Growing up near the cities was great, and is something I will always be grateful.
One thing I have always wished to do however, is travel. I have been grateful enough to be able to travel with my family to Florida, Chicago, and Arizona. However, I have never been out of the country, and it is something I have alwasys wanted to do.One day, I hope to visit many different countries and use the video skills i've learned to show what I will see.
